Applications available for eligible organizations through October 9
Golden 1 Credit Union (Golden 1) is pleased to announce a new nonprofit grant program focused on organizations supporting Sacramento’s Del Paso Heights neighborhood. As part of Golden 1’s five-year targeted investment in the community, Golden 1 will provide up to $1 million in grant awards ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 to organizations serving the Del Paso Heights community.
“We continue to see the positive impact our investment in Del Paso Heights has on the community and we are excited to deepen our work as we expand our reach through more partners," said Erica Taylor, Senior Vice President of Community Impact and Public Relations Officer for Golden 1 Credit Union. “We hope our investment continues to inspire similar efforts from organizations across the region to help further create change and uplift the community.”
The new program invites organizations focused on building community, growing the economy, and expanding opportunity for neighborhood residents. Eligible organizations do not have to be based in Del Paso Heights, but all funding must benefit the community.
“We couldn’t be prouder of the partnerships Golden 1 has created in Del Paso Heights over the past few years and we cannot wait to see what’s to come as we further expand our social and community impact programs,” added Taylor.
Grant applications are being accepted now through October 9, 2024. Funds will be distributed in December 2024. An information session for applications will also be held on October 2, 2024, at 6 p.m. at Golden 1’s Financial Resource Center located at 3725 Marysville Blvd. Suite 1, Sacramento, CA 95838.
