Del Paso Heights Partnership
Golden 1 has a $10 million, multi-year investment in Del Paso Heights, a chronically under-resourced community in Sacramento. We've also opened a new Financial Resource Center branch in the neighborhood to provide easily accessible services.
Since 2022, we've granted more than $3.3 million to four partner organizations in Del Paso Heights:
- Greater Sacramento Urban League (GSUL) to support ongoing economic development services for the Del Paso Heights community.
- Mutual Assistance Network (MAN) to provide financial education and coaching support for youth and adults in Del Paso Heights.
- Neighborhood Wellness Foundation (NWF) to provide targeted physical and mental health support for Grant Union High School students.
- Roberts Family Development Center (RFDC) to provide academic support, mentoring, and wraparound care for youth, young adults, and families.
We've also hosted or participated in over 120 community events in the neighborhood, and our investment has served roughly 9,000 Del Paso Heights community members, not including those served by the free financial coaching, workshops, and banking services offered at our Financial Resource Center.
We commend Golden 1 for their long-term and intentional investment in Del Paso Heights and North Sacramento. Together, we are working to promote economic stability and growth for residents.
